I was headed on my way to a friend’s house to help celebrate another friend’s birthday when I was suddenly struck violently from behind. I was waiting at a stoplight and the next thing I know my head is doing the whippy thing and my change is everwhere. I had to pick the change out of the gear shift to be able to put the car in park and when I exited the car I was greeted by a nice old lady who was the driver of the vehicle that hit mine.
She was very concerned about my well-being and after an inspection of the cars it seemed no noticable damage had been done, save two small divits on each side of my license plate. My neck did seem sore, but then again I spend all of my day programming and designing so a sore neck for me is pretty standard.
I didn’t call the cops or exchange insurance info, but I did get her name, number, and address in case anything does end up hurting or something is wrong with my car. Turns out she lives right next to where I used to live in Collinsville. Small world. I decided not to go to my friend’s house and just go home to relax. Feh.
