I was just woken up to the sound of a steady knocking followed the whole house making a squeaking, shaking sound. Car alarms went off outside.

It has all stopped, but I have no idea what that was. The last time I experienced anything like that it was the New Madrid fault moving a little.

It could of been something localized to right here, but I suspect it was some kind of quake or blast somewhere far away.

Well, it all sems fine now and the cats aren’t spooked, so I guess all will be fine and I should just go to bed. There’s nothing on the radio or Google News about it.
