Copenhagen University scientists have made a conclusion that our nerves use sound to transmit information instead of electricity.
One of the reasonings given for this claim is that there is not enough heat being generated from our electrical impulses as there should be if electricity is the means of neurotic communication.
So when someone’s voice gets on someone’s nerves is that more than a figure of speech?

The review in the link is too brief for me to really comment on. But in general this idea is totally from outer space and wrong. With very small currents and voltages you can induce neurons to fire and result in normal biological function in the nerve terminals. Clearly electrical signals do play a role in the function of these cells.

Please, please don’t post as one of my fictional characters… it’s a bit disturbing.
I am drawing Camille, but I’m not quite ready to start up the series again. I’m trying to develop out the long term plot plus I’m still reworking my drawing style and the characters.
