There is a rare condidtion known as Somniloquism where a person engages in dialog while asleep. I remember in my first year of college I roomed with a young man named Tad who would vocalize all sorts of odd adventures, but nothing like those of Dion McGregor, a past songwriter who wrote “Where is the Wonder” for Barbara Streisand.
Dion’s nocturnal adventures are sometimes macabre, like his dream about a variant of Russian Roulette with pastries instead of guns (one of them being poisoned), and are sometimes uproarliously absurd, like his narrative about having fun in a land of concentric circles.
Eventually someone got the fun idea of recording Dion in his sleep and to start putting out albums of the stuff. It’s defintely worth a listen, especially if you have a dark sense of humor. Many who have heard the albums have wondered if this is all a hoax, and some of the dialogs are so well done it does make one wonder; either way, even if it is a fake it still fascinates.
Here is a place where you can buy his albums and listen to two samples: link

Hmmm… I would hope that if I had that condition I’d pick better subjects to talk about… Ashley Judd… Charlize Theron… Something like that…

You may or may not know, but Charlize Theron has the staring role in the upcoming Aeon Flux movie. If you’ve never heard of Aeon Flux, it was a very avent garde and often bloody action cartoon on MTV that orginally aired on its Liquid Television show. The main character Aeon Flux is a deadly and impossibly dexterous mercenary in the far future, who had the strange habit of dying often in the run of the series.
The live-action movie is not much at all like the original series, and I think Charlize was a bit of a bad choice for Aeon, I think Catherine Zeta Jones would have been a much better choice, who has not only the same face as Aeon, but also the lanky and yet provacative frame that Aeon used to provoke her way out of some jams.

I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t like Catherine Zeta Jones. Maybe ’cause she’s from Wales…most of the Welsh I’ve met have been irritating
O’course I’ve not met CZJ and I’d have to say that if by some weird twist of fate she were into me, I’d have a hard time turning her away…
Oh well
